Description:
Fake Jazz Festival was a five-day concert series celebrating underground experimental noise music. Curated by Anju Singh, Jeremy Van Wyck, and Bill Batt, the festival took place in the Grand Luxe Hall and at offsite venues Lick and La Casa Del Artista. Fake Jazz Festival also ran in tandem with Noise not Noise—Western Front’s two-day symposium exploring the changing role of noise in culture.
The third day of Fake Jazz took place in the Grand Luxe Hall and featured performances by KK Null, The Sorrow and the Pity, Flat Grey, and Whip of the UFO.
