Description:

While in residence at Western Front, Chip Lord developed the single-channel video installation YVR: Arrival/Departure. Divided into four parts titled “The Home Office,” “Arrival,” “Waiting,” and “Departure,” the work presents a portrait of the Vancouver International Airport seen from the viewpoint of an executive air traveller, played by Lord.
