Experimental sound artist Zbigniew Karkowski and video artist Atsuko Nojiri presented a twenty-minute performance in an evening of audacious multimedia collaboration. Karkowski manipulated original acoustic instrument recordings to extreme frequencies that were paired with Nojiri’s projected visual interpretations. The Rita opened with a thirty-minute noise set.A workshop with Zbigniew Karkowski followed at VIVO Media Arts Centre on Mar 1, 2009.
