Western Front hosted experimental chamber music group Motion Ensemble for their Vancouver debut. Hailing from New Brunswick, Motion Ensemble offered an eclectic repertoire of post-classical and avant-garde music, incorporating electronics and new media.Motion Ensemble was composed of Karin Aurell (flute), Nadia Francavilla (violin), D’Arcy Philip Gray (percussion/electronics), Richard Hornsby (clarinet), Andrew Miller (bass), and Helen Pridmore (soprano).
This was the second event of the En Masse concert series curated by DB Boyko and Ben Wilson.
