Description:

Western Front invited Maxime de la Rochefoucauld to install his automatons—mechanized acoustic sculptures animated by inaudible frequencies as part of the Vancouver Art Gallery’s special performance event series, FUSE. The automatons’ oddly organic polyrhythms were orchestrated to produce ritualistic trance-like music.
