This single-channel video by Canada Shadows presents a fifty-minute shadow play that translates Hank Bull and Kate Craig’s explorations into the shadow of civilization: God and the Devil discuss the manachean play of light and dark; Doctor Faustrol encounters the Snoutfigs; and the Vogue lady falls in love with monsieur Michaud, inventor of the safety bicycle.

The video features songs sung in Latin, English, and Pygmy adlib.
