Description:
Toque Craft Fair is an annual community event and fundraiser hosted by Western Front. It showcases a curated selection of British Columbia-based artists, craftspeople, and designers who make textiles, ceramics, jewellery, accessories, stationery, and home and body products. Shoppers were invited to browse the fair while enjoying drinks, bratwursts, and home baked treats. The second day of shopping featured a kids’ craft table courtesy of Collage Collage, and a raffle with the chance to win a Linus Dutchi bike donated by Whoa! Nellie.
Toque is all about goodwill, community, and fostering sustainability for artists and artist-run culture in Vancouver. The participating vendors generously donated 30% of all sales to support Western Front’s artistic program.
Participating vendors included Aja Billas, Anita Sikma, Arsenal Pulp Press, Banquet Atelier & Workshop, The Beautiful Project, Cabin + Cub Design, Contexture Design, Cumulus Project, A Farmer’s Daughter, Fieldwork, Gailan Ngan, Henderson Dry Goods, Hendrik Lou, Hunt & Gather, Little House, Nellija Zi, Perro Verlag, Publication Studio, Sharona Franklin, Simply Read Books, Sonja Ahlers, Tin Can Studio, and Wendy Oakman.
Presented with the support of Whoa! Nellie Bikes, D-Original Sausage, Schramm Vodka, Whistler Brewing, and Benton Brothers Fine Cheese.
