Western Front hosted an evening with Steve McCaffery, in which he presented two works.

Paradise Improvised documents a seven-day performance in which McCaffery used a method called “creative misunderstanding” to translate John Milton’s seventeenth-century epic poems Paradise Lost and Paradise Regained.

A Book Resembling Hair was commissioned by the University of California at La Jolla for a forthcoming international symposium on the Aesthetics of Voice in Contemporary Performance.
