While in residence at Western Front, Elizabeth Chitty produced Social Studies as the media element of a performance that took place in the Grand Luxe Hall. In the six-minute video, passersby hurl insults at a camera fixed at street level. Social Studies was later incorporated into Chitty’s single-channel video work Telling Tales (1979).Related Events
