Description:
While in residence at Western Front, Will Holder hosted a series of events related to the work of contemporary American composer Robert Ashley that were presented as part of the first iteration of Scrivener’s Monthly. For the first event of the series, Holder presented a talk on Ashley in the Grand Luxe Hall.
Scrivener’s Monthly was a series of public presentations that explored the space between material practices and spoken words. Set alongside exhibitions at Western Front, this experiment in “not publishing” involved readings, performances, and other articulations.
Presented in partnership with Fillip.
