Art's Birthday: The Velvet Factory

Description:

This event was programmed as part of a multi-day celebration of Art’s Birthday that coincided with the 100th anniversary of radio. Local and international artists used sound, video, robotics, poetry, images, and performance to celebrate and deconstruct utopian ideas of network, radio, and places.  

Roberto Paci Dalò worked with Steve Heimbecker and others in Vancouver to create a stream for The Velvet Factory in Rimini, Italy. The stream from Vancouver was used to create the visual and audio environment through the night at The Velvet Factory.
