Field:

Media Artwork, Talk

Location:

Emily Carr Institute

Time:

Description:

Revised Scripts was an artist talk with Szuper Gallery, Judy Radul, and Geoffrey Farmer. Scripts, whether devised from testimony, re-worked from literary sources, or fictionalized accounts of film extras, provide a framework for the development of these artists’ work. Together, the artists reflected on their exhibitions and performances presented as part of Set, a curatorial series produced in collaboration with Artspeak that explored the concepts of rehearsal and re-enactment and its relation to social roles, institutions, and histories. Set was curated by Lorna Brown and Jonathan Middleton.
