Description:

The sixth night of the Vancouver Creative Music Festival took place at Western Front and featured performances by Canadian Creative Music Collective and the Vancouver Creative Music Orchestra.

Performing under “sonal choreography” by Lisle Ellis, the Vancouver Creative Music Orchestra presented Sound Flowers for the New Born. Movements included: "Move That Air," "Carnations," "Two Flowers," "Three Hawks," "Violets," "Everyone In Likeness," "Jonquil; Prelude to Elusive Grasp of the Moon," "Lullaby," and "Finale."

The Canadian Creative Music Collective performed with members Nobuo Kubota (saxophones), Al Mattes (bass, electronics), and Michael Snow (trumpet, piano). 

Presented in partnership with the New Orchestra Workshop (NOW) Society.
