Colour Bar Research

Description:
While in residence at Western Front, Brice Canyon produced the single-channel video Colour Bar Research, in which a series of rainbow-hued colour filters are applied to a still image of two men kissing, set to the soundtrack of Mozart’s “Requiem” (1791). The work is dedicated to Image Bank and references their colour bar projects.
