Following an introduction by Michael Morris, Dick Higgins presented a selection of poems and short stories from 1967 to 1977 in the Grand Luxe Hall as part of Western Front’s weekly Monday Night Reading Series.

“Martin: Portrait of a Sentimentalist” (1975)
During his reading of “Constellation No. 11,” audience members were invited to participate by reciting a word out loud at their own chosen time within a two-minute period.
To close the evening, Higgins presented his play “Act: A Game of 52 Soaphorse Operas,” with support from Lesley Moyle and Lorenz von Fersen.
The evening also included a screening of a new film by Higgins developed while in residence at Western Front.
