Concert by Inhabitants

Description:

To conclude their residency at Western Front, Inhabitants performed two sets in the Grand Luxe Hall. The concert began with four pieces composed by ensemble members Skye Brooks (drums), Dave Sikula (guitar), and Pete Schmidt (bass). Following an intermission, Inhabitants debuted their new work Untitled Suite (2010). Composed by JP Carter, the thirty-five-minute piece was developed while in residence and recorded in the Western Front sound studio.

The performance took place as part of Event Horizon—a concert series that explored the early roots of pop and ambient-electronic music hybrids.
