While in residence at Western Front, Charlotte Hildebrand presented an evening of dance and film in the Grand Luxe Hall. To begin the program, Hildebrand performed her work Artificial Inspirations, which combined spoken word and movement with props including a suitcase, eight pairs of shoes, a wooden chair, and apples.
Following a screening of an original film, Hildebrand performed a segment of another dance work previously presented at the Art Gallery of Ontario as part of their 1977 exhibition Looking at Dance–Live, on Film, as Video.
The evening was introduced by Jane Ellison.
