Fred Wah read a selection of poems drawn from his book Pictograms from the Interior of B.C. (1975) in the Grand Luxe Hall as part of Western Front’s weekly Monday Night Reading Series. The texts were accompanied by projections of Secwepemc and Okanagan pictographs sourced from John Corner’s book Pictographs (Indian Rock Paintings)in the Interior of British Columbia (1968). Wah also read poems from his pamphlets Tree (1972), Kootenay Place Anthology (1973), and Earth (1974).
