Fred Wah

Bio:

Fred Wah is a writer based in Vancouver and the West Kootenays, Canada. Working across poetry, fiction, and non-fiction, his texts explore themes of hybridity, memory, and lineage, and often involves collaborations with visual artists. He was Canada’s Parliamentary Poet Laureate from 2011 to 2013, and made an Officer of the Order of Canada in 2013.
