Goji Hamada

Bio:

Goji Hamada was an artist and curator born in Tsugaru, Japan, whose practice encompassed performance, video, and installation. Using his own body as a primary medium, Hamada frequently engaged ritual acts and was interested in animal communication. Through an exploration of time and space, life and death, landscape and nature, and allegorical memory, Hamada sought to construct a complex personal mythology that reflected the broader structures and conditions of society.
