Bio:

Chantale Laplante is a musician and sound artist based in Montréal, Canada. Through instrumental and mixed music genres, computer improvisation, live processing, and sound installation, her artistic practice aims at both the conceptual and paradigmatic investigation of the hyperlistening body. She explores the experimental and interdisciplinary creation and presentation of music and the relationship between the public, the musician, and the place as a spacing of resonances.
