Emily Wardill is an artist based in Lisbon, Portugal who works across film, video, sculpture, performance, photography, and installation. In her practice, Wardill investigates the complexities of communication of representation, the limitations and imprecision of language, and the point at which the immaterial adopts the material through insinuation. She is represented by carlier | gebauer, Berlin.
