Alvin Curran

Bio:

Alvin Curran is an American pianist, composer, and sound artist based in Rome, Italy. Recognized as a pioneer of live electronic music, Curran is a co-founder of the improvising collective Musica Elettronica Viva. He produces solo performances, chamber music, experimental radio works, and large-scale sound installations.
