Description:

Western Front hosted electronic music pioneer Alvin Curran for a presentation of his solo concert The Alvin Curran Fake Book. Featuring compositions from 1965 to 2011, his performance incorporated piano, shofar, harmonica, vocals, and thousands of digital samples. Irreverent and traditionally experimental, Curran’s catalogue combined synthesized sound with live instrumentation in the service of social, political, and spiritual change.
