María Magdalena Campos-Pons is a Cuban artist based in Nashville, United States whose practice spans photography, painting, sculpture, film, video, and performance, and addresses issues of history, memory, gender, and religions. Directly informed by her identity formation and the traditions, rituals, and practices of her ancestors, Campos-Pons’s work is deeply autobiographical.
