Jack Shadbolt

Bio:

Jack Shadbolt was an artist and teacher from England based in Burnaby, Canada. He is known for his paintings and murals that draw from his personal experiences and from the social and political conflicts that have taken place in British Columbia and world history. He and his wife Doris Shadbolt founded the Vancouver Institute for the Visual Arts (now The Jack and Doris Shadbolt Foundation for the Visual Arts).
