Western Front’s 28th Anniversary Gala and Art Auction was emceed by Hank Bull and featured a catered dinner, music and performances, and a live auction of works donated by artists.
The auction featured works by Robert Arndt, Santiago Bose, Jo Cook, Christos Dikeakos, Andre Figueiredo, Nia Fliam and Agus Ismoyo, Gilbert & George, Chris Gergley, Antonia Hirsch, Mary Janeway, Una Knox, Laura Wee Láy Láq, Jeanette Lee, Ian Martin, Eric Metcalfe, Hu Jieming, Michael Morris, Antoni Muntadas, my name is scot, Ed Pien, Jack Shadbolt, Ellinda Siu, Gordon Smith, Tod Tedeschini, Vincent Trasov, Jeremy Turner, James Whitman, and Lawrence Paul Yuxweluptun.
The event featured music and performances by Robert Best, Neil Bliss, Sophie Dikeakos, Andrew Laurenson, Marnie Lee Plested, Paul Plimley, Clyde Reed, Carol Sawyer, and Jeremy Turner.
Proceeds from the auction supported Western Front’s year-round art and music programs. A preview of the works took place in the Grand Luxe Hall on Mar 7.
