Description:

Western Front’s 18th Anniversary Gala and Art Auction featured a live auction of works by over fifteen artists; music by the Ross Taggart Trio (Ross Taggart, piano/tenor saxophone; Ken Lister, bass; John Nolan, drums); performances by Sheri-D Wilson, and Judy Radul with Andrew Wilson performing Power Circus; and a five-course dinner. 

The auction featured works by Robert Adrian X, William S. Burroughs, Allyson Clay, Kate Craig, Christos Dikeakos, Gathie Falk, General Idea, Jochen Gerz, David MacWilliam, Eric Metcalfe, Anne Ramsden, Michael Snow, Alan Storey, Ian Wallace, and Neil Wedman, among others. 

A preview of the works opened on February 23, 1991.
