Talk by David Clark

Description:

As part of his artist residency at Western Front, David Clark gave a talk on his digital media projects and his interest in “associational narratives” and non-linear media forms. 

Clark shared his works-in-progress, the non-linear digital opera he was developing while in residence, and Sign after the X (2010), an interactive net.art project in collaboration with Vancouver artists Marina Roy and Graham Meisner. He also screened excerpts of past projects such as A is for Apple (2002), 88 Constellations for Wittgenstein (2008), and Meanwhile. 

Clark’s presentation concluded with a question and answer period.
