Description:

Standing Wave, the ensemble of François Houle (clarinet/soprano sax), Peggy Lee (violoncello), Christian Asplund (piano), and Lauri Lyster (percussion), performed a concert in two parts. The first half of the featured new work specially composed for Standing Wave by local jazz artists John Korsrud, Tony Wilson, Bill Clark, and Ken Morrison. The second half featured compositions by Anthony Braxton arranged by François Houle.

Presented in partnership with Vancouver Pro Musica and Coastal Jazz.
