Description:
The jazz art-song duo of soprano saxophonist Steve Lacy and vocalist Irène Aebi debuted their new performance, Old Flames. The songs centred on texts by a range of poets, including Taslima Nasrin, Elizabeth Jennings, Elizabeth Smart, and Elma Mitchell, and explored the relationships between aging, desire, love, and politics. Erotic photographs by Ariane Lopez Haici were projected during the performance.
