As part of the du Maurier International Jazz Festival, vocalist Geneviève Letarte performed a solo concert in the Grand Luxe Hall with responsive computer graphics by Don Ritter. Letarte’s program was inspired by French traditions, American sound poetry, and chats from ancient culture to explore notions of the natural voice and recount the stories of women navigating the contradictions of contemporary life.
