Description:

This was the fourth and final event of the String Theory: The Future of the Stringed Instrument concert series. 

Eugene Chadbourne’s set drew on elements of blues, free improvisation, protest music, country, experimental jazz, and rockabilly—all brought together by absurd vocals. 

Khac Chi Ensemble performed contemporary Vietnamese works on traditional instruments, the slack string đàn bầu and two-string koni.
