Description:

A screening of SAVAC’s (South Asian Visual Arts Centre) bi-yearly experimental South Asian film and video program, MONITOR. The thirteenth edition of the series, Dance on my head and scratch my heart, invited viewers to consider the indecipherable traces and charges of the past. Through letters, biographies, surfaces, sounds, and architectures, the curators assembled films that initiated dialogues around the shifting nature of South Asian politics, economies, and landscapes.
