Description:

Each March, art communities around the world converge in the annual Art+Feminism Wikipedia Edit-a-thon—a communal updating of Wikipedia entries on gender, feminism, and the arts to help improve the content of under-represented persons and organizations.

Western Front’s fifth Art+Feminism Wikipedia Edit-a-thon invited participants of all genders to create and edit Wikipedia articles about trans and cis women; queer and gender non-conforming persons; BIPOC artists, curators, and organizations; as well as feminist and activist art movements. Reference materials and catalogues from the Western Front archives were made available for participants to use for their research.
