Description:

An evening of performances by Indigenous artists who engage in the practice of sound and sovereignty.

The hour-long concert in the Grand Luxe Hall opened with a welcome song by T’uy’t’tanat Cease Wyss. The first performance of the night featured songs and drumming by Cheryl L’Hirondelle, with special guest vocalist Jennifer Kreisberg. Then, Laura Ortman and Raven Chacon presented an experimental noise set on violin and electric guitar. The evening closed with a performance by Jeremy Dutcher in which he presented four compositions on piano accompanied by live projected visuals by Bracken Hanuse Corlett.
