The Muted Note (2013) is a duet by composer Scott Thomson and performer Susanna Hood that interprets the writings of Canadian poet P.K. Page through song and dance. The hour-long performance in the Grand Luxe Hall featured a suite of eleven original songs composed and performed by Thomson for trombone and voice, accompanied by choreographed movement by Hood.

Following their performance, Thomson and Hood were joined by writer and Canadian literary critic Sandra Diwa for a conversation on the life and work of Page.
