Description:
While in residence at Western Front, Leslie Ross hosted a hands-on workshop that focused on building conventional and invented instruments. From conical and cylindrical bores of wind instruments, to resonators for string and percussive instruments, participants learned how to broaden the range of tonal possibilities of any given acoustic instrument, as well as how to build and use basic pick-ups and interfaces.
Presented with Vancouver Co-op Radio and Community Radio Education Society’s Media Arts Committee.
