Oct 15, 2009
Field:

Concert, Performance

Location:

Grand Luxe Hall, Western Front

Time:

5:00 – 7:00 p.m.

Description:

Clamour: GPS was a weekly series presented on Thursday evenings throughout Oct 2009 that featured music, cocktails, and DJs.

The third event of the series featured the Vancouver debut of Toca Loca’s The P*P Project, which examined the fierce and fearsome taxonomy that has historically made some composers soulfully classical, and others popular. The trio performed work by Canadian composers Geof Holbrook, Nicole Lizee, Quinsin Nachoff, Juliet Palmer, and Andrew Staniland over two thirty-minute sets with an intermission.

Presented with Sonic Presence.
