Description:

Soap and Water is a single-channel video work by Richard Layzell that combines a variety of footage set to music by Hank Bull: oceanside at Roberts Creek, protests at a Vancouver beach, Connie Schrader reading from The Awakening Earth: Our Next Evolutionary Leap (1982) by Peter Russell, water lilies at Beaver Lake in Stanley Park, and a folk dance performance to the Broadway Pickup Stringband.
