Western Front’s 31st Anniversary Gala and Art Auction featured a catered dinner and a live auction of works donated by over thirty artists.The auction featured works by Robert Arndt, Lisa Birke, Matthew Buckingham, Arabella Campbell, Tacita Dean, Heri Dono, Geoffrey Farmer, Graham Gillmore, Randy Gledhill, Dan Graham, Pascal Grandmaison, Arni Haraldsson, Matthew Higgs, Antonia Hirsch, Hadley+Maxwell, Kim Kennedy Austin, Attila Richard Lukacs, Salar Mameni, Luanne Martineau, Jason McLean and Ed Pien, Eric Metcalfe, Antoni Muntadas, Pipilotti Rist, Nicole+Ryan, Kevin Schmidt, Kathy Slade, and Fiona Tan.
Proceeds from the auction supported Western Front’s year-round art and music programs. A preview of the works took place in the Grand Luxe Hall on Mar 3, 2004.
