Description:
While in residence at Western Front, Henry Tsang developed a series of audio tracks for a multichannel video installation with photographic components. The project expanded on Sinophile Sinophobe, a video Tsang began producing in 1990 during a previous residency at Western Front. The work consists of a series of recorded conversations in the Grand Luxe Hall where Tsang and collaborators explore themes of sexuality and dating within Chinese and Chinese-Canadian contexts.Related Events
