Tetsuo Kogawa in Residence

Description:

While in residence at Western Front, Tetsuo Kogawa presented a series of programs under the title A New Human Relationship that explored the democratization of airwaves and the deconstruction of television through DIY technologies.

This included an artist talk, a workshop focused on building 1-watt FM transmitters, and a series of broadcasts titled Neighbourhood TV (NTV) that connected Western Front to artists across Canada and around the world through vidphone connections and telematic communication.
