Description:

Anne Ramsden’s photo-based installation Blind Spots explored strategies for disrupting text and linear narrative, as well as women’s subjectivity and their relationship to mastery. The work specifically addressed the absence of women from modernism’s historical imaginary by engaging with the negative positioning of women and the feminine in the writings of Friedrich Nietzsche.

An artist book by Ramsden accompanied the exhibition.

Curated by Brice MacNeil.
