Description:

Out of the Dark was an exhibition featuring four Hornby Island–based artists—Susan Cain, Stevi Kittelson, Alma Schofield, and Cedar Wallace—who explore dream imagery, mythic influences, and personal ritual objects.

Presented as part of Western Front’s Art Fair, the exhibition included both functional and decorative works, such as felted pieces by Schofield, jewellery by Kittelson, fabric and wire sculptural creatures by Cain, and fibre and found-object vessels and assemblages by Wallace. All works were available for purchase during the Art Fair.

Curated by Annette Hurtig.
