While in Canada on a Foreign Visiting Artists grant, German artists Rena Tangens and padeluun—who worked together as Art d’Ameublement Pour Les Bourgeois Nouveaux—completed a month-long residency at Western Front where they developed work with video, performance, computers, and cooking. The duo also presented the talk “Computer Art Versus the State” as part of Western Front’s conference on digital technology at the arts. 

Prior to arriving in Vancouver, the duo spent time at the Plug In, Winnipeg, and the Banff Centre for the Arts.

Western Front is a non-profit artist-run centre in Vancouver.
