Description:

As part of the 750th anniversary of the city of Berlin, Germany, New York-based filmmaker Alf Bold presented two evenings of screenings of recent experimental films produced by European artists living and working in Berlin. 

The first evening featured illustrated films by Marcel Broodthaers, Cynthia Beatt, Ernie Gehr, and Peter Hutton; and the second evening consisted of a screening of  Thorsten Näter’s poetic feature film Zeit der Stille (1986).
