Western Front presented a screening of Ardele Lister’s video work Sugar Daddy (1980), in which she plays a ghost writer hired to write a woman’s biography. Details revealed in a series of audio recordings finds Lister’s character personally implicated in her subject’s life, leading her to take on the woman’s identity to navigate the tumultuous content.
