New Orchestra Workshop presented a series of concerts in the Grand Luxe Hall on Sundays throughout the summer of 1980. The series featured performances by Blaine Dunway Quartet, Trio Non Troppo, The Veji Band, and the Vancouver Ensemble of Jazz Improvisers, among others.
