Accompanied by Mr. Peanut (Vincent Trasov) and Dr. Brute (Eric Metcalfe), American artist Lowell Darling handed out diplomas on Hastings Street as part of his Fat City School of Finds Art. While in Vancouver, Lowell also staged an iteration of an ongoing performance work in which he nailed down a number of buildings and heavy monuments to prevent them from being thrown off the surface of the earth by the centrifugal force of its rotation.
